The iDFY Leadership Academy POP-UP EVENT is a one-day, high-energy version of our full weekend Leadership Academy, which is known for its high-quality facilitation that develops students into advocates and leaders. This POP-UP EVENT brings the same intentional programming, experienced facilitators, and momentum into a single day.
Who is it for?
- Any Idaho student in grades 6–12. Perfect for students in student government, iDFY Chapters, mentor programs, or any other student organization or team.
- Adult advisors or chaperones
Event Details:
- Date: April 11th, 2026
- Time: 8 AM – 4 PM (Lunch from 12-1 PM)
- Location: Jack’s Urban Meeting Place (JUMP) – 1000 W Myrtle St, Boise ID 83702
- Cost: $30 per youth and adult, or “Pay what you can” starting at $15/person
- Registration Closes April 1st, 2026

Important Info:
- This is a one-day event and iDFY provides all programming.
- Transportation to and from the event is not provided.
- Students must attend with an adult chaperone.
- Participants should bring a sack lunch or plan to grab a quick lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Do I have to be a member of iDFY to attend? Who will be there?
The iDFY Leadership Academy: POP UP Event is open to all Idaho students in grades 6 – 12, and you do not need to be an iDFY member to attend. The iDFY Leadership Academy is perfect for any Idaho student looking for an incredible leadership-focused experience. This event will enhance the leadership skillset and bring cohesiveness to a group of students. This event is also perfect for students in iDFY Chapters, student government, mentors, or any other student group or team. You can expect a diverse group of students who represent several regions, schools, and student groups throughout Idaho. Curious about iDFY? This event, as well as the Idaho Youth Summit, are both great ways to get involved.
Is adult supervision provided?
To ensure a safe and supportive experience, each participating school is required to provide at least one chaperone, regardless of student group size.
Transportation is not provided to the iDFY Leadership Academy: POP UP Event and must be arranged to and from the venue.
Is lunch provided?
Lunch is not provided during the event; attendees are able to bring a sack lunch (can not be eaten in the JUMP facility) or purchase lunch from a nearby restaurant. Lunch will be an hour from noon to 1 PM.
